If your adding on the CY MP-5 muffler you said you had ordered, then you will need to trim the canopy to keep it from rubbing/melting on the nose section of the muffler.
Don't waste your time with muffler extensions, performance will be lost or effected.
After your muffler is mounted, put on the canopy, then slowly trim the canopy till you have a little space between the two.
A Dremel cutting tool works real nice, just take your time buddy....
