My Posts This: Topic Forum | I think this is a pretty neat example of how engineers work, I read a book on the making of the Boeing 777 and another on the Lockheed Skunkworks and they had to reengineer a lot of small parts, usually for hardness, cracks, material failures. You just know a new heli is going to have teething problems. The time it takes the manufacturer to provide better parts is a key to their success, look at Align! While others (Hirobo Lepton?) never provide them. I think Kasama is into really "elegant" solutions, which is part of the fun, and how many other kits have a work of art holding their starter coupling on its shaft? If this new hex coupling does the job it will set the gold standard and that's why I wanted the Srimok. But I gotta be honest, I've held back on building this thing to see what trouble people would have. I'm weak!! You guys that dove right in deserve a lot of credit for helping to work the bugs out. That's another aspect of the hobby to "enjoy" So Please Kasama, fix the parts that need attention as soon as possible. |
