I am building my 600N Belt and have two leftover black plastic hexbolts (like those that go in the tailboom mount or fan housing.) Please tell me they are extras and I don't have to start dismantling. I can't find any other place for them to go. I just installed my servos and tail tonight.
Do these kits have any left over parts when complete?

Thanks.

They do that just in case you drop something and can't find it. I put all mine in a case and saved for the next time I needed an extra screw.

Fly it like you stole it!

Thanks, but....

Specifically, did anyone else have those plastic hex bolts (look more like long plastic hex nuts) left over?

I am trying to figure out if I somehow left them out during my build.

Thanks again.

Getting there.... I think

I checked and all of my screws torqued down good in the fan shroud and tail assemblies (where they connect to the side frames). Am I correct in thinking they would have nothing to thread into if I left out the inserts?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but this is my first heli build and I am probably being too careful and over thinking everything.

Thanks again, I appreciate all of your help and hints so far.

Thank You!

You have totally made my day! I was dreading having to dismantle the heli after having CAed all of the screws. Now I can finish my servo installation. What a great community.

you can use one of those for a standoff for a header tank if you run one. Cut to size and bolt to the screw under the tank (one of the mount screws for the frame/landing gear) or some have used one of the bolt holes from the lower bearing block, and some have made a new hole altogether.

Hi, I have just put a 600 sport together. Align call them mounting bolts. In the cooling fan shroud the hex mounting bolts were actually 6mm too short. No mention in the manual but I came across the longer ones in the bag with the cable ties and other odds and sods. So yes, I have two hex mounting bolts left over but they are no use for anything on the model!
