My first heli was a KALT space Baron/Enforcer with Futaba FF7 in 92'
I liked them that much that I now have two new un-used Enforcer ZR's and one with the S-30 all metal rotorhead.

GMP Cricket. Still have it and have recently rebuilt it to new condition. Bought it in 1990 from a guy that never built it. Flew the heck out of it and learned to fly helis. Since I have gone on to modern equipment and now have six helis in my "herd".

Helicopters are 20,000 loose parts flying formation.

** flew only racing planks for a while, was lucky to fly plenty of OPP helis not owning one. I still do because of the training I give. Have my 1st XCell , along with a perfect mini boy, a heliboy, and a superior I'm trying to restore.

my first heli

Nexus 30 with an OS 32 i think.Crashed many times before somebody shot me down by turning on their tx on same channel.That crash destroyed it.Then went to a Raptor 30.One heck of an upgrade for sure.

My first was a Kalt Cyclone circa 1985. Picked it up with a Sanwa radio in Hong Kong. I still have the heli in the garage.

I had a GMP Cricket with a OS Max. It had to be around 1986 or 1987 if I had to guess. The years blur by!

Schluter Helistar with a Webra61, TN carb, Yale Tru Spin Blades and A Futaba Super 7UHF and Futaba 153BB Gyro. Glitch city but I learned to hover and never looked back. Hel X canopies were the rage back then.

The 7UHP on the other hand was glitch bullet proof, 1st computer radio I owned. Futaba 1024 PCM really worked well.
FM stuff, uhhh, not so good with helis.

my next heli. ended up being a TDR - unbelieveable helicopter.

Hirobo shuttle zx upgraded piece by piece to a shuttle gold.. 153bb gyro remember those?

Futaba 1024 PCM really worked well.
FM stuff, uhhh, not so good with helis.

Funny, I had the exact opposite experience (same radio too, Super Seven). With fm you could see all the little glitches, and fix them before they got too bad. PCM would mask them till they got so bad it locked out and crashed. Now we are all spoiled with 2.4!

my first heli is a 4 channel co-axial ESKY LAMA V3..

1988 when I started it was the first generation shuttle (baby blue if you remember) with the flybar on top using a AM JR 4ch airplane radio with a "Y" cable for the throttle and collective and NO gyro, I didn't even know what a gyro was! lol! but I learned to fly like that and did quiet well... Man things are soo much easier now.

Kalt Barron 20

My first heli was a Kalt Barron 20 with an OS 25 FSR to power it. No gyro and a standard OS silencer with a 90 degree adaptor. It flew very well but I remember a lot of clutch problems!!

Miniature Aircraft Xcell 60 Sport Trainer. Wish I had it back.
I bought the kit new back in 2000, set up all night about 18 hours staright and built the frame/kit. Boy it was so fun and exciting.
