Schluter Heli Boy

Just completed Thanks "tutlar" for the instruction manual & everyone for help finding some missing replacement parts. Of the six kits I have built (gas / nitro / elect.) This is by far the most fun kit ever. I have 106 detailed pics if anyone is intrested. OH and thanks to Augusto of avant for letting me talk him out of this kit.

Schluters

I just found out my brother still has my Mini-Boy up in his attic! He may even have my Century 7 radio I gave him with it. He is going to pack it up and ship it to me and I will make it flyable Again!

My very first Helicopter was a brand new Hirobo MH 10. It was very cheap and came with a 2.5ccm OS Engine. Despite the fact that it was very crappy I learnt to hover with the little thing. When I have learned to do simple hovering circles tail-in and side-in it was completely worn out.
My second Helicopter was the X-Cell 40. I still remember the feeling the first time i hovered it. It was so easy! Unfortunately I only got one flight that day because the starter cone loosened.

By the way: X-Cell still make the best helicopter (the Stratus!).

Kyosho Concept 30 ~20 years ago. It was a lot of fun to learn on... right until it decided to commit suicide after a radio dropout. Hit a wall & shredded itself as the throttle was still at hover speed. Wasn't worth fixing. I dropped helis until just this year, having a lot of fun getting back into it.

If something hasn't broken on your helicopter... it's about to.
