Hi, I'm a new guy. I just got my HoneyBee V2 and it came with the FSM simulator,(I know it's not the greatest one out there).

I followed the instructions to a "T" when setting it up but my throttle and tail rotor controls are backwards.
The simulator recognizes the throttle as being on Channel 3 but in the Sim, in order to increase throttle, I need to give it right rudder,(or tail rotor)....and to move the tail rotor, I have to give it throttle.

Any ideas ?

It's been a while since I used FMS (don't even have it loaded any more), however, I believe there is a mapping function that maps a particular item to a particular axis on the controller. Look for a setup or preferences menu for it.

I'd also recommend looking at another simulator called HeliSimRC. It is significantly better than FMS.

Hope this helps.

Start the sim,
click "control" from the toolbar
Then "Analog control"
Then "Mapping/calibration"
Make sure your settings are the same as shown here
good luck

helisim

You should be able to map it out on the FS one. But I can tell ya, that sim pretty much sucks.

Get this sim. I like it better than Real flight by far!!! My buddy has real flight and never uses it anymore. We all use the Helisim.

Here is your link to it.
