I only like to fly gassed up

Well i'm not quiet sue what all that means but from the sound of it is my fly bar is about a foot to long

Quote
I don't know the part number it just came to me in a longer cardboard box

Like you say, put the Trex 700 flybar on, and shorten the
super long for later use

700 flybar

I use the 570mm Align flybar on two JR gassers,Robbe Millenium gasser and old Kalt gasser. You also get two for oneIt transformed the feel of the Robbe.

Well i took my flybar off my 700 and it fits its about 3inchs longer than the stock but thats a lot better than 10inchs. I just have to line it up a little better and mix up soom gas and i think it will be ready for running. I'm getting very nervous now.

I know some of you don't think the flybar from MA is that long but later i will post a pic up side the stock one. I think it was a defect and they knew they where closing and just put it in a box and sent it to me. I took and rolled it on a piece of glass and it is just as bent as my crashed one. I just want to say MA if you have a defect trash it thats what we do every day of the week. One more think don't send it to a machinist who knows better. I will use Trex flybars from now own.

Thanks Fixit and thanks everyone else that helped

Well i flew it while ago and let me say it runs a lot better with a lot less vibration than before. Theres only a small ripple in the fuel tank. One thing i cant tell you guys if your using a spartan gyro do NOT set it in normal mode i got out there and everything seemed ok and time it left the ground it pun like a top,i brought it back in and put the computor to it and changed it from normal to reverse and went back out there and tried it aain and it was perfect,it held the nose perfect.I got it back inside looking over everything to make sure nothing is loose. I touched the motor and man it was hot,i set the low endjust like hanson said 1 3/8 on low and 1 1/2 on high with about 5ozs of Lawnboy oil. I could go fom a hover to near power and it did not bog or anything it had a great transition. I know i soundin have but i did a few loops and rolls with it and it did them perfect. Does anyone have any better needle settings for break in i'm using Coleman fuel?

Thanks for all the help

Do a full pre flight check at the field even though you’ve just built it, only put enough fuel in for a sort flight then double check you pitch and throttle curves and have you favourite tipple at the ready.
All the Best

The only thing i don't understand is when i cranked it it reved pretty high and i had to hurry and lower the trim on the throttle. I had to lowere it so much that the hr cut want cut the motor should i screw in on the throttle linkage to get i back right?

Thanks Fixit

By the way it flew great.

Yes idle screw is out. I don't understand before i had it worked on it would shut it down with no problem but now it won't. I guess i'm going to take the breather of and adjust the rod.

..when you're adjusting it do so with the air filter off...so you can see if the butterfly closes fully...Oh, and double check for any air leaks around your gaskets

On the flybar business

Didn't it come with a package labeled X-cell with a part number on it?

What does your receipt say on it, that should have the part number as well...

I can only assume you either ordered the wrong number or they sent you the wrong number - check the receipt and you'll know. Its supposed to be 0566-1 for future reference.

Glad to hear you're up and running with the Spectra, you should be 10 times better off now with a smooth motor on-board.

Well i put my foot in my mouth again,i came home for lunch and set down at my computor and happened to look over against the wall and i saw a X Cell tag hanging out i picked it up and looked and that was it.It had the PN#MA0566-1 on it and it the same length as my bent one. I looked this room up and down last night and could not find it so i found the other one and i thought that was it but that one was for my Bat. I'm sorry MA you did send the right part it's my dumb rump that misplaced it. Sorry for post a dumb question. Now i can put my Trex flybar back on.

Thanks for all the input, and my bad

Ah...!!

I've never seen a flybar from Minair so long before, but I thought I just never came across it. Makes more sense now that its a quickbat flybar...

Well glad that got sorted out, and go out and enjoy that Spectra now!
