I still fly 2.

But I will be selling them both and plan on buying an SDX.
Anybody want to buy a good flying heli?

My EVO is getting just as much fly time as the SDX lately.

You can get pretty close to SDX response from the EVO by modifying the mixing arms and using Infinavation or CX dampers.

Here's a discussion from '07...

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

I would have rebuilt my crashed Evo were it not for the spindle bending twice without a crash.

The SDX has a much tougher (8mm!) spindle.

There's no making an Evo match a SDX in 3D. The Evo hovers better, but past that it's all SDX.

I bought mine as a backup for my Raptor Titan two years ago. The Titan has been on the shelf most of the year and that is the one I would sell to buy an SDX, not the EVO!

I just converted mines to a 50 and it fly awesome with the 10/87 gearing, actually I had to dialed the throttle curves down a lot to keep the headspeed under 2 grand. I'm considering gettng an SDX soon.

Aim High!

KCGraves I would sell to buy an SDX, not the EVO!

I'm not advertising for them but you would probably like
the SDX if you like your EVO.

gonkulator,

Maybe my statement was a little confusing. I meant that I would sell the Raptor Titan to buy an SDX. I wouldn't sell the EVO to buy one and keep the Titan. The EVO is my favorite and the second favorite is the Freya EVO 90 I bought a few months ago. Hence why the Titan is now a shelf queen.

gonkulator,

Crashed it once or twice last year. Not a 3Der so my flying is pretty tame. Main problems after a crash were the servo tray and the landing gear. Put QuickUK HD gear on it and longer screws on the servo tray but all in all not much damage at all.

Cold in N. CA. Ours is coming in Western NY.
