How many of you here are still keeping at least one Evo 50 and have no plan of selling it? I am still keeping two, one SWM and one HPM. Not long ago, I tried selling my blinged HPM and could not make it. So, I decide to keep them both. Evo 50 is still my favorite and reliable heli. I use the SWM now as a beater for learning new maneuvers as parts now are pretty cheap especially for used ones.
EVO-50Count me in. I love them. They may not turn or flip as fast as the SDX or a T-rex 600 but they have a rock solid feel and fly forever. I have one that has been flying for four years. On it's third engine and some other parts but I have never had to replace a bearing. I am building two EVO-90 now and I think they will give the same service. I once (years ago) had a GMP King Cobra that I flew for 13 years. They were built by Hirobo. Only one crash, yea the last one. Good Luck with yours Buz 870Heli AMA-4663
i have my sceadu swm for about four years and never let me down ,i learn to fly inverted with it and in the F3C events also fly the sceadu, now i love fly my SDX and try to be good in 3D!!
i still have two sceadu 50's but their not evo's they are the early sceadu and they still fly very well even at around eight years old, the one is a converted 30 to 50 the other was from new a 50, both bought used and no plans on selling them they sit along side my sdx50 and turbulence and get flown as much as the newer heli's
I went to a FunFly in TN last month and this flyer had Five EVO 50 sceadus decked out in blue bling ! He loved them . I had a Great time with mime for a long time , now have a SDX , really enjoyed the sceadu 50 .
Still flying a non-Evo original Sceadu 50. No plans to replace or upgrade either, although if I trash it, I may consider the Evo head, but not because of how it flies . . . just 'cuz the Evo parts are easier to find . . .

The more I touch electrics, the more I grow to hate them . . . .
I have one HPM (full option kit version) in flying condition and one unassembled for parts. To address the lack of coll/cyclic you can get out of the evo head without binding, I converted it to FBL with a V-Bar. It is just as nimble as my FBL Vibe50 now.....just a shade heavier so I don't quite have the same pop. It does fly smoother though and also autos nicer...not sure why. I think the plastic frames help absorb some of the engine vibes that the G10 in the Vibe50 frames pass through to the electronics. I think moving to a 55 or 56 engine will solve the evo power problems. It currently has a worn hyper50.
I have 6 Sceadu's. 2 regular (now in my Hughes 500 and Jet Ranger), 2 Evo's, 1 EX and one brand new EVO in the box (hell it was $190 shipped tp my door - I had to buy it)! My first started off as a 30, but it soon got upgraded to a 50. Now all are 50 size. -Steve
Count me in. I though about selling my Sceadu Evo 50 to buy a SDX. Perhaps I'll buy it in a future but I decided to keep the Evo 50. Great flyer.... Mucio Viana Brazil
