Hirobo Freya D3 Head = New Life for Freya?

Has anyone got the part numbers for this upgrade? Is there more to it than just the head 0414-455?

Is there a conversion kit available with all the parts?

It's HIR054.

It's a kit put together by MRC, The US importer of Hirobo. But I think they are out of stock.

Ran two tanks with the new head. First was low to the ground hover & stuff just to play it safe in case I didn't tighten something. All was well.

Then the second tank. Well, what we have here is a new helcopter. It pops the blades with authority and they aren't even SB's! I messed around a bit until I startled myself - almost lost it. I went partially inverted and hit neg col and it scooted across the sky so fast it took me a sec to catch up to it! I took it a bit easier after that and brought it home for a full review just to make sure everything's OK.

Anyone that wants to wake up an old Freya, well, this is dynamite! It's got thirty degrees of pitch with 60% on the swash mix!

Keep an eye on the 2.6 mm screws that hold the flybar carrier in place. They're prone to loosening. Mine are in there with red loctite.......for a reason. And yes, you can get them out when/if needed. Red loctite will release with usual hand tools when used modestly and on fasters 4mm and smaller.
