My Posts This: Topic Forum | Personally I learned to fly on wood blades, all the way up to and including doing auto's, loops, rolls. The $39 crash kit from heliproz that includes a set of Mavrikk wood blades is still a good deal. Just make sure to epoxy the blade roots on properly including removing the covering, check their balance and make sure you keep your headspeed at/below 1700 RPM. Take a LOT of the sting out of a crash, gave me the confidence to push a bit and learn things like auto's.

If you really want carbon blades the G4's are not too bad for sport blades. They auto OK and fly around pretty well but if you push them hard they will zap headspeed faster than more expensive blades. This is a pretty good price for a crash kit with composite blades.
