Hello
I want to covert my JR 9303 to 2.4
Iv looked at differant moduels that are available.
There are Spectrum,Corona and now Futaba moduels that fit JR radios.
Any advice on which is best?
The Corona moduels are so inexpensive it scares me to try it.
Ive also heard of Spectrum mods having problems.
Whats the best option?
Thanks
CR

Spektrum ++

Gets my vote..... I used the module in my 10x for two seasons and sold the radio and I still have an 8103 for training that has one and have never had a problem.....
And the Horizon service is just the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck, Stan

Spektrum is the ONLY way you should go. Don't take any chances with the cheap chinese stuff. I have the XP9303 with the module, and have been happy so far. Wish I had servo sync and modelmatch, but all the other features of the radio are just what I need.

Disadvantages?

When converting a JR radio (XP9303) to the X9303 2.4 using a Spektrum module, are there any advantages to buying the dedicated 2.4g radio set versus doing a conversion of a 72 Mhz?
Are there any features or benefits to the dedicated set?
Is the module conversion still going to provide Model match ? Is it very complicated to do the conversion?
Cheers, and thanks,
Vince

servo sync and modelmatch

Those are the only two things that you will be missing and NEVER had on 72!!!!!
Install is simple... clip in the module, and add the antenna attachment hardware that is supplied.... probably a 2 minute install if you stop for coffee!!!!!!

Definetly saves giving away a perfectly good TX..... and with the rx selection you can fly ANYTHING....

Good Luck, Stan

So, does that mean I can use the same tx for both 72Mhz and 2.4Ghz at the flying field considering the time for the switching is just 2mins?

10x and 9303 with a spektrum module here too. I have two planes on 72mhz yet, but that will end soon.

I just bought one on Horizon Hobby http://www.horizonhobby.com/Product...ProdID=SPMMSJR7

It comes with an AR7000 rx, a Spektrum module and an antenna. I think it is a good deal.
