Your welcome
I just wish I knew a little more about flybarless. I keep reading what you guys are posting about it but have yet to try it myself. I have had the opportunity to fly a couple of them and they fly great.

Gear mesh

First question guys...
I adjusted the mesh as described in the manual, but just wondered if this look good? The mesh seems fine, but should the pinion gear be further in?

That's pretty much how mine looks too. Did you run a piece of paper between the two gears to check spacing?

Hi

I would move the pionen a bit forward so that is is centrered on the crowngear.
I dont adjust the gears as in the manual.

I center the pionen on the crowngear, loosen both clamps on the mainaxle.
Then I lift the heli in the main grips, and then push down the lower claps and tighten it.
Then i place the heli on the table, and push up the upper clamps.

It has worked perfect for many years, and it was a tip from Eric Larson.

It is just fine.
even though the it looks slightly back in pic it has full contact and the bottom of the gear in the mesh.

Holes on flybar pivot and flybar cage

Ok, new question:
There are three holes on the flybar pivot. I understand that the one closest to the head is the one to use for 3D. Is this what you 3D
guys use, or is it that less stable that you prefer the middle one?
My flying style is 3D and I want punch

Same question for the flybar cage. For 3D should I use the inside or the outside hole?

that decision is based on to many things specific to your setup.

IE: head speed, servo speed, blade choice etc. so experiment until you find what works best for you.

my spectra is set in the middle and my ion is set to the inside so try all 3 until you get what you want

ok, thanks
I will try the inner hole first

For the flybar cage the inner for more aggressive? Thats how I understand it from the manual, but in the build video he says that he is going to use the inner hole for stability.

I use the inner hole on the flybar cage and the middle hole on the flybar.
That's running the original white paddles and 710mm Rotortechs.

I do very mild 3D at the most and in this configuration, it would be a bit too mild for hardcore 3D pilots.
