Hi guys, Ive been flying helis now for 16 months and am hooked like crazy. I have never flown bigger then a Trex 450 (because of $). I own a 450 and a Gaui 200, and my 5 year old son has a MCX which he loves. A freind of a friend gave me a crashed Raptor 50 which I am dying to fly. I have been to a few fun flys and seen them, they are awesome. I dont know much at all about nitros but am learning the hard way. The stuff I have for sale is just to fund this heli being rebuilt.

Heres some pics or the 50, it has OS 50 9252s for cyc, and 9254 for tail. No boom or flybar or Blades.

2 of the servos broke gears, all shafts are bent. Needs berings. I just took the motor out and it seems to be in great shape. If anyone wants to help out please check my Classified ad. If anyone wants to donate =0) any parts that would be unreal.
Anything donated by a fellow RR I will put there RR name on my Canopy. Thanks guys.

The heli has servos, I know for sure one of the 9252 needs gears. I think all the other servos are ok ( I have not tested them yet) If I needed it I would take it but thank you. You are very kind. I dont want to take anything I wont use on this heli. When I get the new shafts it needs. Also needs a windshild for the canopy (the canopy I got with it is ok but needs painting) A header tank (theres none to be found in the boxes I have) Tail boom (I have tail case and belt, just no boom) Then I need to get the rest of the ele for it 7 ch rec a gov I think, Gyro. I am hoping to have it in the air by spring or summer.

Quick look into that box and you've got some nice stuff in there. That Hatori muffler may be worth something for a trade. Also the V-blade tail blades may be worth trading.

You do NOT need a gov, don't get one until you start flipping it around and what not. You also do NOT need a header tank.

Those servos are great, just replace the gears on them and run them.

Replace all the fuel lines, especially inside the tank. Replace the rubber dampers in the head.

I think I will need those things because I flip my 450 and 200. Latly I have been flying more inverted the right up. The first few flights on the 50 I wont flip it, but my fingers are gonna turn it over. When I first started flying 3d I crashed alot but now i can handle it (no pro, not even close).

another recommendation, get rid of the collective push/pull mechanism and put the tail servo up front.

You don't need a header tank or gov. to flip it, I fly mine all the time without a header tank and gov. - just need to setup curves and the main tank with a clunk line that reaches to the top when upside down.

Also, the throttle servo is setup incorrectly.

So far I have taken the motor out to clean the frames real good , there was nasty oil res on everything. Took the motor apart and it looks very good inside. The crank look very clean. I was a little scard of the nitros at first but I think this build will be great. I think the head I have for it is a Mavrick, with metal grips. They were a little bent but was carful and bent them back.

When I buy a used machine I tear it completely down, been glad every time. Lets you find things that may have been built wrong or have worn out. The pieces and parts get a good cleaning with warm water, a tooth brush and some dish soap. Then it feels like I'm building almost a new kit. Your Titan really looks like it'd benefit from a good cleaning.

Another item to look at is the clutch - check the run out, want it less than .002

Thanks, I have no Idea what any of that is but thanks, lol. He is a very good friend and only flys 500s now. He got it from a friend of his. Everything looks pretty good right now, I will take some pics of it tomorrow. The Raptor is living at my job right now cause when we are slow I get to work on it.

You mentioned that the Metal Head assembly may be a Maverick piece!
If it is do yourself a favor and replace the bearings!
WHY?
I have been down the road with the Maverick Head assemblies and the bearings do "lack" in quality (metal pieces are decent but the bearings suck)!
So as you do your rebuild, take the 20 bucks and replace the bearings and you can fly with one less worry of bad or soon to be bad bearings!

Keep us posted on your build and include photos buddy!
It's cool to watch a Raptor be resurrected from a cardboard box of parts!

I plan on repelacing all of them. Since Ive never flown a nitro (or know how it should fly) I want it to be as close to perfect flying as I can make it. When I got my first 450 sa used and built some of it, it sucked compared to how my 450 se does now. Just took time to know how to do it right. When I get some parts in I will take more photos of it being built, all the way up to first flight.

If the servos aren't locked up

Don't be afraid to replace the gears. I have done this a couple of times with the 9252 that have been in a couple of crashes the last two years. Should cost you under $20 bucks this is worse case if you had to replace all of them! After reassembly check for any dead spots in the overall movement. Cool project!

Take offs are optional! Landings are not!

Im waiting on a AR7000 right now, when I get it I can bind it and go threw all the servos. I know 1 of them is screwed but the others might be ok. It has a 9254 on the tail which should work great with a 401 when the time comes to get it. I have replaced servo gears before and its not to bad.

Anyone have the align 2in1 reg with the rx batt and the align gov? if so can you send me a pm on how much you want for it. I think these would work good on the 50. ty
