What are folks using to boom mount a tail servo and where do you get them?

I did find a flat plate looking thing, at AMain I think, but cant see how it would mount. Are there none that just go around the boom and clamp on?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Boom mount servos were popular a few years but that mod has fallen out of favor. It’s mainly due to the nitro helicopters having rudder servo failures because of all the oil and dirt. For electric it would be ok but it does not improve the tail performance.

HeliProz has a boom clamp type mount.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		You can use a Titan rear mount, if you drill another hole in it. The E-Raptor has a shorter spacing were the bolts to tighten the boom goes.

LOL – that thing is way too cheap – I just don’t trust the quality of Align parts.

I got the Mavrikk for only $6.00 and it’s very good quality. I really can’t see why you would want to go cheaper.
