Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > AR7100 Switch not working with Vbar attached??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

Here is my issue... My AR7100 has been working great and I have been using the toggle switch supplied with the kit.

Since adding the Vbar unit I have a wierd issue... With the switch in the off position and lipo plugged in the 7100 it stays off like it should. I turn it on and the unit powers up like it should and everything works fine.

When I flip the switch to the off position the 7100 does not turn off. The blue light stays on and the cyclic servos stay on. I have to unplug the lipo in order to cut the power.

With lipo unplugged I make sure switch is off and I can plug lipo back in and it all stays off...

Any thoughts??? Seems like if the switch was bad it would not work at all?

Thanks for any help.

maybe its some sort of saftey feature? when the 7100 has a servo signal it stays on? try this disconnect vbar but plug in 1 servo then move the stick so that servo moves.. then Don't center the stick and switch off the switch see what happens reason i ask this is vbars always sending a servo signal whether your moving the servos or not

Normal. Mikado makes a wiring harness just for the 7100 RX. Go to ReadyHeli. Problem solved. The 7100 as you know is not wired like other RX's and that is what is causing your problem.

Ok, need some help here.. Do you have a link for this wiring harness? I am not finding one that would fit with what you are saying.

Thanks!

The receiver is also constantly sending servo signals. Neutral is a signal!
