My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Anyone running a Carbsmart or Multigov pro on the new OS 55? I'm curious how sensitive the mid needle is. Do you need a dual arm setup similar to what others did on the 90 size engines or can just the high needle be adjusted.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I will be in a couple weeks (will finish my Vibe 50 builds over turkey week)
As this is an OS carb, I am assuming the main needle covers the whole range. So you can run the mid slightly leaner than you would without mixture control, and let the mixture control manage all with main needle.
This is how my 4 HZ engines are setup in the TREX 700 fleet.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The Redline does not have an actual mid needle from what I remember. We had a few guys try a Carbsmart on the Redline without much success. It seemed the Redline had alot of slop in the needle after you removed the tensioner lever. They both had trouble with temps and it looked like air was getting in through the needle.
