Anyone have the CB100 yet?
I'm curious how much flight time you are getting and if you can compare it to the 4#3B (which is what I have)

The CB100 is more or less the same spec as the 4#3B double brushless but with a more stable head design due to the phases 45 deg flybar - walkera have put a 500mAh 15C battery on which will give up to 10 mins of flight - personally I think its a very nice model - as setup by walkera its very stable for the beginner but by increasing throw rate's and lightening the flybar weights it can be given far more aggressive flight characteristics for more experienced pilots.

You don’t have to be crazy to fly Helicopters but it helps LOL

Hey Melnic!
I'm looking for one as a Christmas present.
This is the same head design I used on Frankenheli, and it's about as stable as a single rotor heli can get. At 1/2 the size of Frank, it will be a great indoor flier to get through the winter with.

But at your level of flying, wouldn't you be happier with a 4#3B?
Or are you looking for a more relaxed flying style to work on technique?

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission.

Oh, and for what it's worth, flying wise, it is going to handle a LOT like a coax. A LOT! Just in a smaller package.

The head design lends itself to forward flight better than a coax, but the balance bar still overcomes the servo after a time. And they tend to be self correcting.

Very, very stable.

Yes I have found that by using 1g flybar weights rather than the standard 1.3g you get flight characteristics more like a large heli rather than the self righting co-ax type stability - I like my 4#3 A, B, and brushless B but they are very fast - I also like the CB100.

I have often heard it said if you can fly the 4#3B you can fly anything and yes you do need very fast reactions with it - but in all honesty I prefer the more sedate flight characteristics of my larger heli's and my CB100 allows me the feel of a larger heli but in the warmth and convenience of my own home.

But which ever way you go you cannot go that wrong - if you buy a 4#3B and find its a little too zippy for your liking you can stick a CB100 head on and vice versa.

Regards David
