I just have had a wild day. I got my ship (50 size with a bigger motor) to the field. I did my pre flight and noticed that my servos did not center mid stick. I did do the re bind as I am flying 2.4
No joy. So I jumped into the sub trim program and dialed things in.
All servos less the tail needed tweaking. Flew the ship and all was well. The next flight I did another pre flight and again had to dial down the sub trims back. Whats going on? The RX has never seen a crash. This ship has over 16 gallons of fuel thru her without a problem until now.
Input please oh RR gang.

Servo horns might be slipping on the servo splines.

Hi

What radio?

Are you doing the check in hov mode?
You may be moving the 'hov trim' knob.

Are you sure you have no trim in any of the flight modes (regular trim)

Regards
Paul

Thanks for the questions. Here are the answers.
JR9303 tx Spectrum mod.
Servo horns are not slipping on the splines.
I check servo center mid stick all modes on the bench (pre flight).
Hover trim is zero always.
Like I typed. I push the sticks to mid stick (zero deg pitch) and check that the servos are centered.
Thanks RR gang. Hope you have some ideas or more questions.
Note. All other ships (six of them) do not have this problem.

What servos? I'll tell you right now the Align DS610's won't center as well some other servos. I have seen the same issue with them as you are describing and after doing some pitch testing on the bench found that one of the three would end up slightly off center at midstick even after I had dialed in subtrim a number of times previously for it to be center.

No problem with my DS610's even on 8v. Or maybe the extra voltage helps them center better?

Here are the answers to your questions.
Im driving all of the CCPM servos at 6v. Hitec HS-6965HB.
Just today I fired them up on on bench and all centers needed adjustment again.
All of them. This is not a single servo issue...All of them needed tweeking. leaning to a RX issue.
Input RR folks.???
