On the TX calibration in setup mode, subtrim is used to get zero values at center for each servo.

Is subtrim OK to use on the tail servo?

I can't get zero otherwise...
I know rudder subtrim is not a good idea with a HH gyro.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		TX calibration does not relate to getting centre on your servos, its about getting the software matched to your radio.

Do the TX calibration adjusting subtrim and endpoints, then for the tail get the horn (futaba) and keep trying arms till you get it to 90.
The cyclic servos centre is adjusted later with the swash level buttons and collective buttons.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		expert menu, setup page on bottom, click on hat, thats where you enter subtrims for each servo there. Not in radio or otherwise, your subtrims in tx are just for centering pots to the software.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
