My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Yeah i know its a load of crap, but its what ive got


Just sent the support an email, but i was wondering if anyone on here could help.

I installed Phoenix no problem, but when i open it it says download the latest directx, which ive done, and also update motherboard/soundcard driver, which when i checked, where both up to date. but still get no sound any ideas fellas?

Use direct sound option and it should work.

Look under program settings, audio.

Had the same issue and this fixed it. It was posted in another thread.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I had a similar problem I received the following error when I tried to install Phoenix on my new PC Running Vista, I have successfully installed it on my XP Machine:-
Error 1721 There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
programrequired for this install to complete could not be run.
Contact your support personnel or package Vendor.
Action install directx location c:\...\DXSETUP.exe, command.
However the program appears completely installed will recognize and calibrate the transmitter but does not run. I then searched for DXSETUP.EXE found it ran it seperately and then the simulator seems to run.
Also I am using an Futaba FX30 at 2.4 GHz and Phoenix will only recognize the transmitter when it is in Trainer Student mode. In all other modes it asks me to turn on the transmitter. However in this mode it does not recognize any pitch or throttle curves set up on the FX30. I sent a mail to the Phoenix support on Nov 5 and have had no reply as of yet. Cheers Bev.
