My Posts This: Topic Forum | If I had to start all over again, all I would fly would be an EVO 90 with SSZ-IV head and use a SDX as a crash and learn machine.
But, and I'm sure most people would agree with me here, the introduction of "affordable" carbon fibre models (or even G10) like the Avant, Synergy, Furys and the Aligns have literally taken most of the 90 market. Superficially they're "sexier" than a plastic EVO 90 - and that's the rub if you know what I mean.
The question now is how much more can we go with plastic machines when competition from other machines that use carbon fibre/G10 are about the same price etc? I still like plastic machines, because they're easier to build, easier to maintain and you aren't scared of crashing them, and crashes don't usually have bearing blocks getting missaligned etc. . . |
