Trying to figure this one out?

I am setting up the pitch control system. Noticing that I only seem to have about 8 Degrees of Positive Pitch, but a WHOLE BUNCH of Negative Pitch!

Is this normal or have I got something reversed on the linkages?

Appreciate your help and comments, photos would be nice too, if anyone has them.

Thanks again,

Jeff

The control rod lengths in the manual are a starting point. Sounds to me like your control rod for the collective needs to be adjusted. Make sure you're in idle up, you want 0 degrees when all the arms are level on the head and the swash plate is in the middle of its total throw, and the stick is in the center.

Setting the 3 middle pitch points to 50 helps make sure the servo is centered as long as the stick is anywhere near the center.

You obviously not used to setting up mechanicaly.

No prob's

Probably easier to go here:

http://www.raptortechnique.com/

Have a good 'dig' around there, helped most of us with th TT stuff.

Thn come back.. be much easier to deal with anything missing.

Colsy:

Thanks for the reply. But, I am very familiar with setting up mechanically and setting up RAPTORS.

It is just that with this new mechanics on the Titan SE, something looked different than on my other RAPPY's.

I wasn't sure if something had changed or I maybe missed something.

Take Care.

I think I would have lied, and said "I adjusted the push rods".

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

It does if you haven't got a symmetrical pitch curve; not everyone uses +11 -11 etc. some may use +10 -4 (like me)
If I reversed my pitch servo then I'd only get +4... but a boatlaod of -ve pitch.
