The maingear for a Baron30 should fit,the bolt spacing is the same but the hole centre is a fraction bigger on the AlphaII.Also the Baron30 was a moulded gear and the Alpha is machine cut.Baron 30 gears often had curved outer drive teeth whereas Alpha gears were perfect and also cost more. I've used a Baron 30 gear on a Alpha 60 so i know they work, just not as well made as a genuine Alpha 60 one,if i remember rightly the spares were bagged with a blue Omega header card and in the UK used to cost £10 more even though they looked identical.

You can use any 30 sized generic gear and drill the holes to match the frames.
What happened in Panama after I left? you all forgot to make do with what you got? Use your imagination and you will be flying alot sooner than you think. "Enjoy the sun and keep the skids to the ground" I miss flying in Paradise on Earth.
