My Posts This: Topic Forum | make sure you don't have any extra washers, or spacers on the shaft of the engine. Also, I know I use way too much red locktite and I sometimes get it caked up where it shouldn't be. Make sure you don't have excess locktite build up between the fan hub, and the bottom of the clutch. I had this problem on an old trex600N one time.
I did have a strange noise you describe from the clutch comming in contact with the bell on the top. My noise was only there untill the clutch engaged... the noise was gone after 2 flights. I have since had to replace the clutch and the bell after a bad crash. no problems with the new set.
Im not able to comment on wag for this heli yet as I haven't experienced any yet.
I find the harder I "throw down" at the field... the more peices i have to pick up. |
