Does the solid orange light on the receiver and satellite receiver
mean it is ok to fly or the flashing orange light mean it is ok to fly. My guess is solid orange light is ok to fly. Flying nitro.
Thx in advance.

Solid light means that it RX has not experienced any power issues.

Flashing light means that the RX has experienced power issues.

I can please 1 person a day.

If you change the battery or turn the reciever off and on without turning off the transmitter the system will link up but the lights will flash. This is safe to fly, you just won't have any indication that you had a power problem in flight.

Normally you'd take off with solid lights, if the lights are solid when you land, no power problems, if they are flashing then you know you had a brown out.

Ahh That statement Barracuda puts more light in the room. Sometimes I have to cut off the the rx and cut it back on for the gyro to stay solid and the rx lights starting flashing and couldn't find the question or answer for that in the spektrum website. Thx. But also I wasn't quite sure if the solid or flashing light was safe to fly. Thx.

yea they are both safe to fly, if you take off with solid and it is blinking when you come down then you had a power/signal glitch

Sometimes I have to cut off the the rx and cut it back on for the gyro to stay solid

Then set the gyro gain/mode control to select HH mode, set your throttle stick to where you want the throttle to go during a fail safe event, and RE-BIND your RX.

If you bind the RX with the radio set to select HH mode, you won't have the trouble quoted above. It will always come up initialized properly.
