I just got an iphone and was wondering if the internet is secure enough to do banking and stuff like that? Also my mother in law works for ATT wireless and a friend making a joke said now she can look you up at work anytime she wants and see what you are up to. So that got me wondering as to what info they have access to. Can they see who you are texting or emailing or what apps. you bought or where on the net you surf? I wouldn't think so but I was just wondering.

I bank with my BlackBerry but then again I am not a worry wart with Identity Theft (just hasn't happened to me yet)

I've heard of Apps where they can see where you are at... I'm sure there is some kind of agreement that you have to "sign" or whatever. I doubt some worker at AT&T can just look you up where ever you are at without you knowing. I seriously doubt they can see anything and if they can you can prob sue for some good money. Although you could just mind your P's and Q's because big brother is ALWAYS WATCHING you!! Haven't you seen Enemy of the State or Eagle Eye?? HAHAHA

Airplanes are for guys with one dumb thumb...

yeah

I am SURE its safe!

the banks use an encryption...

but as far as fraud most credit cards your not liable for the theft only $50 but banks are a bit different...

I don't usually buy stuff with Debit Card as i had the number stolen and $600 dollars of stuff ordered and the bank made me go to the Police station they made me fill out a dozen forms and i still had to wait 3 months to get reimbursed... Credit Card on the other hand takes one phone call...

But i did see this regarding Safari and Iphone:

Some banks now have apps that do that!
Jailbreak your phone! takes minutes and unlocks its true potential!

Fly, Fly then Fly some more!!
