I'm new to the Trex 700 scene. While fighting a few engine troubles I have been playing with different HSs. Anytime I drop below 65% on the align governor, my 700 starts wobbling pretty bad. I searched and found a couple posts with this problem but they all mention flipped grips. I have not heard about this mod till I searched for the wobble issue.

Whats the fix? I like to do hover stuff down in the 1300 range I can't remember what that is on the gov but it's below 65%. My manual isn't handy or I'd look it up.

Thanks, Matt

Thats just the way it is dude. Deal with it. It wobbles at Low head speeds, Just the nature of the beast. Dampening is super tight. Only thing you could do is research some softer dampners, which I dont think exist. It is a 3-d machine with hard dampening so you dont boom strike in agressive moves. I own a 700, and as soon as I go from normal, which is about 1700 to 1850 and 1920, the wobble goes away.

Also, make sure your main blades are not too tight.

That's real different than my Furys! They are perfectly happy down to 1200 but I like them around 1400 for hovering stuff. I guess if that's just the nature of the beast I can live with it. I definitely don't want to give up on the 3D capabilities to get the low HS performance.
I'm fairly happy just knowing there's nothing wrong!

Thanks, Matt

The Trex is a 3d bird. The head is set up very stiff. Anything below 1700 on the head and you will get the wobbles. Forget about 1300 it just isnt going to happen. There is nothing wrong at all with your bird. Crank the speed up a bit and burn some fuel..
