I thought I would share our indoor flying schedule over the upcoming winter. Who knows, perhaps some of you may be in the Indianapolis area on business or maybe you can make the drive over to the Indianapolis area. TripleB attended one of the fly-ins last year and we had a great time. Anyway, it would be nice to meet some of my other Esky friends that hang out on this thread.
The flying area is an indoor baseball/soccer facility with artificial turf (easy on the aircraft during crashes ). The flying area is 130 ft. x 150 ft x 35 ft. high…a good sized area. Helis are welcome and most of the plank pilots are flying foamies. As far as I know at this time, AMA is not required. The cost is $20.00 per event or $120.00 for the entire winter season.
These fly-ins are alot of fun. Also, Indiana's own Nick Maxwell showed up for a few of the fly-ins last season . If you don't remember, below is a video I recorded of Nick flying last season.

Rick, I think the price is reasonable because this is a very nice facility with a large flying area unlike the typical basketball gymnasiums in which many winter fly-ins are held. Just drive up for one event, Rick. I promise you'll want to come back .
