I am looking for some replacement bearings for the scorpion -8 and also some tips on how to check the bearings in the motor.

That's for a V1. The V2 uses 4x8x3 and 4x11x4 bearings.

it would seem that readyheli does not have boca bearings for the v2 and their regular bearings are out of stock.

Order a replacement shaft as well. You are going to either ruin or lose the spring keeper in replacing the bearings. They don't provide a new one in the bearing kit, but they do in the shaft kit.

As long as we're in this general topic of discussion, would someone please confirm the dimensions for the bearings in a Scorpion 4025-740 OR tell me where to search the specs. I'm going to change out the stock ones for something of better quality.

16mm OD.x 8mm ID.x 5mm thick. You have to look for it, but you can get the info. from Innov8tive Designs or Scorpion Power Systems.

The next time I'm going to try some ABEC-5 bearings instead of the regular ABEC-3.
