Seem to be some 2 in 1 issues popping up again and all over the web. I am starting to believe there may be something to this.

So corrosionx the solution to keeping the 2 in 1?

What is switch and glow and who makes them?

I have not used a switch glo but use the 2in1 on all my nitro machines both new and old versions. I have never had a problem (knock on wood)

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Thats good to know, thanks for the info.

All the guys at the field were I fly use them. We had an incident this past weekend. We are having a hard time figuring out what happened but I think the 2-in-1 may come in to question soon.

I know to read everything on the net with a grain of salt. They have sold thousands with a much smaller number to that failing. But it seems to be popping up more and more.

Think i may of found out way my 700 went in last month (£350 to fix it)

there was no silicone under the two end capacitors.

sorry but ill never use one again.using switch glow and Ely-Q reg now

The capacitor just fell out when you opened the case? Sorry for your crash. That's a big one (I'd say close to $475 US?).

I'm using an Arizona regulator running 6V on cyclic. Has been very reliable and is built well. Great customer support too.

The older ones were bad about the capacitors breaking off. I use velcro as a buffer to help with vibration. I will check both of mine now after seeing this.

I remember a lot of people saying the flimsy switch caused it to randomly cut out. I tore mine apart a soldered it permanently on, and I've never had an issue with it.

I stick the corrosion X tube right in the switch and fill it with the product and haven't had an issue to date.
