logo used to make a kit. I Just talked to a guy at ready heli says they don't make it anymore and he will TRY and find out what parts are needed. I bet there is someoen out there who know hopefully you can share that infor. Thanks
Well, just quickly looking, frame, belt, boom, tail, gears(if your not at mod 7 already) and canopy. Theres prob more that I missed, but if you just want to swing 550s, belt and boom.
Mikado never made a conversion kit to go from a Logo 10 to a Logo 500. Esprit Models did there own kit, maybe that is what you are thinking about.
However all you would need is.
1 MIK4057 Right Side Frame LOGO 500/600 $24.99 1 MIK4058 Left Side Frame LOGO 500/600 $24.99 1 MIK4059 Drive Pulley LOGO 500/600 $9.99 4 MIK0930 Ball Bearing 3x7x3mm $5.99 ea 1 MIK4064 Pin For Metal Swashplate M3 $5.99 1 MIK4072 Tail Boom Holder, dia. 20, LOGO 500 $9.99 1 MIK4075 Hardened Hollow Main Rotor Shaft (10mm) (2 pcs.) $15.99 1 MIK4089 Tail Rotor Belt Tensioner LOGO 500/600 $9.99 1 MIK4090 Hex Bolts Aluminum (LOGO 500/600 DX) $4.99 1 MIK0834 Drive Belt 686 XL - Logo 500SE $19.99 *** 1 MIK2481 Tail Boom 690mm LOGO 500 SE - LOGO 10 $14.99 1 MIK2490 Vertical Fin $9.99 1 MIK4206 Front Canopy Support Set $6.99 1 MIK4088 Logo 500/600 (25mm Bolt Spacing Aluminum Motor Plate) $28.99 1 MIK4159 Painted Logo 500 Fiberglass Canopy (Yellow/Blue/White) $69.99 14 2.5mmx10mm bolts 5 2.5mm x 8mm bolts 19 2.5mm locking nuts
This is a basic list. I may of missed some little things but this would get you almost complete. ***One note about the tail boom I would use your logo 10 boom (which is stock on Logo 500SE)and get the Logo 500SE belt that way you can run 600mm blads if you ever decide to.
FYI...The logo 10 head and tail are EXACTLY the same as a logo 500
the differences between the 2 are mostly the frames/herringbone gears and boom/belt
Mikado is very good at making a majority of the same parts work on all their machines...there is actually a very low amount of total parts for mikado helis...
perfect example...the logo 600 head is the same head except for the grips/bearings and spindle...the rest is the same
Humm, Not to disagree with the great one, but my logo 103d tail isnt exactly the same as my logo 500. I thought they were when I didnt order the parts I need and found out the hard way.
There is a belt tensioner bearing assembly(mik4104) on the 500 tail that isnt on the 10, therefore the case halves arent the same.
I bet you upgraded your 10 somewhere along the line, cause I just checked both my machines, and their respective manual.
Logo 10 and Logo 500 tail is not the same, Mikado did update the tail case when the Logo 500 came out, and it has even improve since then as well. With that being said you could use the older one, it just is not the lastest with the belt bearing support and I think they made the guide hole for the tail boom more beefy.
tail...Okay...you guys are right...BUT...what I should have said is that the logo 10 tail is pretty mcuch the same and would work perfectly fine on the logo 500. the head is exactly the same
other than that minor bearing support and the half moons there is no real difference.
the old tail would work the same.
Personally I think the plastic tail case setup is a POS...I always prefer the Open Carbon box myself..
