Folks,

I'd like to leave the sales thread alone and post this separately. The rotorworkz website states that the CF thickness is 1.65mm and their G-10 frames are 1.70mm.

http://www.rotorworkz.com/html/600_hfx.html

These frames here, are they G-10 or CF?

I PM'ed Charley Stevens and he said they're G-10, but I was informed by the seller that they are CF. I measured the frames and the thickness seemed to be around 1.63mm (I have a crappy caliper.) I think we have a little disconnect here, hoping you folks can straighten this out for us or Charley Stevens himself can chime in.

Many thanks in advance.

that is G10.
Carbon fibre will have a woven look to it.
Your frame is plain black, G10.

If you bling it, they will come :D

My G10 frame looks exactly like that. [love my G10]

and since I just looked up RW frames that are CF do have the weave seller is mistaken and your frame is %100 G10 [nothing wrong at all if it was advertised properly]

And the asking price is advertised accordingly correct as the G10 is obviously cheaper than CF.

It is G10

Unless Charley Stevens himself states otherwise, it does look G10 to everybody so far. The posted price has no relation to whether it's CF or G10 because the price is agreed between the two parties. If in your private conversation with the seller that it's supposed to be CF, then it's time to challenge that. Charley is pretty active in the Outrage forum, so he can chime in and bring it to a closure since he makes it.
