Hi Guys, I'm having some trouble trying to load the drivers for the Futaba CIU-2 usb interface. I have downloaded both the 520 and interface software from the futaba web page,unzipped and installed both programs, followed the PDF file instructing set up and I keep getting a prompt saying the drivers aren't installed and you can't use the interface.

Any ideas, I'm lost,

Try running the driver install program again for the CIU interface. Then after that plug in the CIU and it should the reconize and install it. After that you can now run the GY520 program. I had to do it twice on my computer also.

i successfully installed the drivers, theres two ofthem. i installed the soft ware its called the 850 link software. i just cant get it to run, running windows xp

duh...says so in the instructions..what they dont tell you is where to download the soft ware and what software to look for. If Futabas link wont work without the soft ware then why dont they include it on a disk? or tell you what or where to get it? After half a night with Google i found out the software to get is called GY520_LINK_ENG...............Great support Futaba! And the normal non computer literate person would have never figured it our

I think a disk would have been a great idea. It is not like i coast more than 1 dollar to include it with the link.

As for the down load it is on the futaba web site and it is easy to find at futabarc.com under down loads.

The support could be better, since the link is the most expensive gyro link out there. even the Spartain link is only $40. That is why one guy bought it out here and we all share it.
