Hey guys I just installed a new clutch and glued in a new liner.
Was goin for .006 gap and ended up with .007
Not to bad for a first try I guess. My question is , do I have to do anything special like breakin in the new liner before I can just fly and do some flips and rolls and such? What to look for to make sure the clutch is doin it's thing?
Thanks Guys

No break in required.

Just make sure that the clutch spins freely. You should be able to spin it with your finger.

Just make sure your clutch does not drag on the new liner. Put the clutch bell over the clutch and see how snug it is if it feels like it is going to touch you will need to sand the liner down a bit with some sand paper to give it a little gap. Other then that let her rip...

(If you need to sand it down)
I found that putting the clutch bell in a drill on low and taking some fine grit sand paper to the liner gets a nice even sanding.

Hi guys, went over to the field today and tried the new clutch and liner. Everything worked really well. From now on I'll be glueing in my own liners. The new bell I ordered had way to much clearance.
By the way I used the Maverick brand liner and it works well so far.
I wonder what the difference is with the TT brand. Oh well, Thanks again guys for helpin me out!

Glad to read it worked out well for you. I glue my own in too and never had a problem as i can get much tighter clearance than the new TT one.
Like Bulldogs said, other then that let her rip...

If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!
