I am not so sure I want to post on this thread but...why not.

I think that anyone who has been in this hobby for longer then 10 years can certainly appreciate not only Align but all of the companies currently. The heli community used to be very small and now that things have become more affordable and easier the hobby is in reach of more people then ever. As goofy as it sounds, we are in very exciting times in this hobby. Changes occur monthly, or even weekly! Embrace it

There will always be issues with any helicopter. Some small, some large, some get resolved, some have work around's and fix's. This is the way it will always be. There are too many variables involved.

You simply cannot please everyone. It's impossible.

ALL helis have issues. Even the top of the line. I could make a list for each one. Align has no more issues then others.

For me, I've had NONE. And I hate upgrades unless they are obsolutely necessary. I have the cap head screws and washers to replace the button head screws and the rocketcity ball link kit from UK just because I bought used. From what I've read these are worthwhile upgrades and inexpensive.

So far I've had no issues whatsoever with mine and it's a blast to fly.

I've had Align products since the first 450 came out (gray plastic, purple links, overspeeding tail, etc) and Align has come a long way.

The thing is it's not going to be for everybody, and for those they can just get something else. No reason to rain on everybody else's parade.

I totally agree. I have had 450's, 600's and now 700's and can say that they have come a long way with it all. I really enjoy flying my 700 vs my old synergy. It was just to expensive so I traded it for another 700 and have been burning holes in the sky with it. Pound for pound it is by far the best heli I have owned.

I on the other hand love bling so mine have everything upgradable on it. Just personal prefrance. It looks good but doesn't fly any better than stock.

I have had some issues with quality but it is not enough to keep me down. The parts are very affordable and I just send back what is wrong and the shops make it good.

I love Align and can deal with the small stuff every once in a while.

Let's all be happy and burn more fuel.

Nice flight Ray!

And I totally agree with you. I have had many "high end" 90's and I can tell you that the T700 is probably the most reliable heli I have ever owned. I was on the other side of the fence until I finally broke down and bought my first 700. I had to eat my words after that. Absolutely a dream to work on, fly's as good if not better than anything else out there.

I really like my 700 machine...its a great beater because its pretty solid when assembled correctly and its easy to fix.

Id say if they made a slightly better screw set(the larger screws are ok but the smaller ones are too soft) it would really benifit the end user. Other than that I havent presonally had any issues with it but Ive seen other that have had freak accidents with theirs...

Bending main shafts(only in an electric conversion)
Tail grip splitting

But then again Ive seen stuff fail on just about all brands for various reasons. I guess a big part of it is the qty align sells so the chances of an error being reported is much higher.

The odds are that it will be crashed before failure anyway. So your odds of wearing one out are still good. It is a great machine for the money and I feel everyone should have one.

I've got a 600n and I love it. I don't have much to say that others haven't already stated but I'm still a beginner and out of all the heli's I have flown or tried to fly, my 600 is by the far the easiest to handle and it has helped me progress from staring at them on the ground to forward flight and orientation.

While I cannot speak for the quality or longetivity of the parts on extreme or hard 3-D, I can say that for flying around and enjoying a relaxing day of 1600 RPM headspeed around the local field, it works and it works damn good.

Sure I could spend 3 frickin' grand or more on a Synergy or something but why bother when my 600 goes and moves just how I want to. I have also found that when a majority of people go with something (save for the presidential election) it is usually right, especially when it comes to reliability and safety. That is my own observation and I stick with it.

Regards, Brandon

Ive also been into Align since the First Grey 450 , have got through about 5 600s Es and N and currently have 1 600 NSP , 1 600 limited and a 700 and fly the balls off them and never have major issues , im amazed how they keep going and going as long as you dont crash.

I feel Align Heli's need abit more experence to build and must be built and set up correctly , problem is alot of Raptor boys are trying to build them and you can get away with chucking them together and a sloppy set up on those dated old things .lol

Going to build another 600 and if its like the rest ive built , I just turn up at the field and they fly great , no hassle and they all feel the same in the way they fly.

Ive even got an Align cap like said its to easy to blame your tools for your workmmanship.
