Put blue lock tight on it and tighten it up snug enough so it does not bind.

Definitely *must* loctite it in place with a metal tail fork. I tighten it down spinning it with my fingers until I feel some drag on the bearings then back it off a little. Make sure the slider does not have any play on the brass sleeve.

First disasemble it and clean the threads with alcohol. Then assemble with Blue loctite. Snug it down then back off until it spins freely. Let dry overnight before flying.

yep, plastic fork locks itself in place because the plastic is tight against the threads. Metal will vibrate right loose in a few seconds of flight.

The only place I use red loctite on a heli is the pressure tap on the exhaust. Green for holding bearings onto the pinion (and other places that might need it, not needed anywhere else on a Raptor) - blue on *all* threads that go into metal. If you need to secure threads going into plastic a *small* drop of CA glue does a good job. Make sure there is no oil anywhere when assembling, must be dry. Clean with alcohol before applying loctite or CA.
