My Posts This: Topic Forum | yep, plastic fork locks itself in place because the plastic is tight against the threads. Metal will vibrate right loose in a few seconds of flight.
The only place I use red loctite on a heli is the pressure tap on the exhaust. Green for holding bearings onto the pinion (and other places that might need it, not needed anywhere else on a Raptor) - blue on *all* threads that go into metal. If you need to secure threads going into plastic a *small* drop of CA glue does a good job. Make sure there is no oil anywhere when assembling, must be dry. Clean with alcohol before applying loctite or CA.
