My Posts This: Topic Forum | WIC and the Visalia funflyWell thats a bumber about sunday. Ive never been into to football, holidays, family functions ect.... But I have another buddy I can always count on that stays home and watches football. What If you bring a TV on sunday? I have a small inverter.
I was on the phone with Adam aka(skidzup) Last night getting some good info on the fun fly.
1. AMA required but if you don't have it he's bringing the card scanner and can get you setup at the feild.
2. There is no reg fee no anything fee! Show up and fly! There will be warming fires, Sim shack to practice, raffle (nothing super high dollar) A few pro Pilots and some Visalia guys that will throw down. A few empty beverage containers in the trash, generators, and possibly a few events. He's expecting a better turn out this year.
3. There will be a donation box only. I think that is pretty cool. Free food.
He works at Visalia Hobby. It looks like it is really going to be a good time. There are things he doesn't promote to try to keep it a "fliers funfly" It sounds awesome.
jan 1-3 visalia old golf course. He gives directions on the Events Thread @ RR.
It would be very cool to get as many Fresno/Clovis/CENCAL guys down there and represent. He's hearing a pretty good buzz around his area, and I told him the same is going on up here. Very cool.
Hash, Jetfire and a buddy are going to wic today. I'm getting ready to go. I have 2 batteries for my 6. You will really like the 450pro i promise. I love it. I have it setup pretty quick on my radio. It still hovers hands off. But was thinking to just use my radio see if you like the way it fly's then just program your radio from that. It really helped me. Having a machine than flys good really helps learning. Without having the 450 for a month I would not be flying my 600 the way I do. Everything is a step. Very excited about the 700nL. My 600 will probably be up for sale in the near future.
Thanks guys. I'll see whoever is going out today and see the rest of you on sunday.
