Anyone have a readable copy of the manual to the Trex 600 size Bell UH-1B from Skyhunter hobbies?
[url=http://www.skyhunterhobby.com/#/600-huey-fuselage/4533361927]

I just got mine Saturday, and the mini CD contains a single PDF file which is unreadable. I tried searching for it and will also be requesting a copy from the Vendor, but thought I would ask here and get a quicker response.

Thanks,

MadDawg

Hi MadDawg

I was going to send you the PDF file but I must have tossed it in the trash can. My CD was also corrupted, but someone was kind enough to send me a working copy. Unfortunately the information on it was less than useless. They assume that you are an experienced builder. If you are an experienced builder you will have figured it out for yourself. The only insight gained from the pdf file was that they ran the tail boom all the way to the back, then cut it to length. I had assumed that they would use the belt without the boom, but I was wrong. As I stated somewhere; if I were to build another, I would use torque tube to the tail bend, then use flex cable for the remaining distance to the tail, forgetting the belt drive.

If I can be of any hyelp, let me know.

Jack

Thanks guys,

Yea this is a zirconia diamond in the rough. I did manage to get the manual in PDF. Useless as stated. I have rough fit the formers in place on my own, was just curious how the belt drive system worked. I think I like Jack's idea on the torque tube method. Will see though.

Right now I'm cleaning up the fuse as I bought it un-painted. Will install the formers and see how it goes. I'm going to have to make my own landing gear as these are horribly over sized and shaped. But then again this fuse was cheap. So will see how it goes and maybe post some finished shots when done.

Thanks,

MadDawg
