Hello helipals. I am planning to set up a T-Rex 600ESP and need some advice as to whether or not my choice of equipment is appropriate. Here's the set-up:

Align: T-Rex 600CF ESP Superior Combo (Blue)
Hitec: Aurora 9 2.4GHz Tx (Optima 9Ch Rx)
Turnigy: 6S1P 35C (22.2V/5000mAh) LiPo Battery Pack-3
Scorpion: HK-4025-(1100KV) Brushless Motor
Kool Flight Systems: KFS002 Ultimate BEC
JR: DS3517MG High Speed Mini Metal Gear Tail Servo
Skookum: SK720 5-Axis Gyro Stabilizer System (USB)
Skookum: SK-LCD Field Terminal
Mavrikk: G5 Pro 610mm Wide Chord Carbon Fiber Blades
Lightning: CNC 600 5-Blade Main Rotorhead v2
Lightning: CNC 600 4-Blade Tail Rotor v2
ProTek: iCharger 106B+ 10A 250W Balancer/Charger

Is there anything else I need or could change about this set-up??

the only thing I see right off is your tail servo, I would recomend going with a full size 8900g.

Since you are going to a custom power system any way an 8S setup would be a lot better especially since you have a 5 bladed rotor. It’s going to take some real serious power to turn all those blades.

First of all thank you for responding. Will it make much difference if I went to a 4-bladed system. Will that servo work with the Hitec Aurora-9 Tx and can I use 12S LiPo's in the T-Rex 600 or should I start stacking LiPo's to achive enough power. Also what is a good charger for this type of set-up?? And I failed to mention that I plan to put the mechanics in a Blue Thunder or a Bell 430 fuselage (if I can find one that will take electric)

yes that servo is definitely your best option, as for the batteries, 8s is the most common but you could run 12s if you wanted. you would have to buy an appropriate motor/speed control for your cell selection.

Can you recomend a speed controller?? Do they have 8S batteries or do I have to stack 2-4S to achive?

depends where you look, I do not run anything higher that 6s but you can get 8s packs from TP for sure and I am not sure where all else. the castle creations 85hv would probably be your best bet for a speed controll.
