Did anyone stretched the tail of a Raptor 50 Titan or e620? I am wondering if the Raptor 60 tail boom will fit and if it does where is a good place to get the longer belt? Yes, I know about Stock Drive Products, PIC and McMaster Carr.

Maybe some one has converted one to a shaft drive?

Thanks in advance.

Whether it’s practical depends on the purpose of the helicopter. If you are into AP then a stretched E620 would be ok. Use JR boom (raptor 50 is larger diameter) and a belt from SDP-SI.com.

If you want 3D you will need a much stronger frame and head. I got a used Raptor 60 cheap a couple of years and converted it to EP. This winter I plan on installing a better power system and converting it to flybarless.

If you want all out performance the E620 is actually better. If you use a Scorpion motor and a good 30C 10s or 12s LiPo it will out fly any nitro 90 helicopter by a mile.
