My Posts This: Topic Forum | Anyone interested in converting a 1st generation voyager e head and or tail to Align T-Rex 500. The 500 head is much sturdier, and parts for the tail are cheaper. Excuse the small motor as I am new at this and do not plan on any 3d, plus it was a motor/speed controler I had on hand. I adapted the t-rex 500 tail boombracket to fit in the voyager. Have photos of the conversion if anyone is interested. Front battery mount is hand made, as is the motor mount and bracket under the receiver, which I moved to the back. Batteries are Thunder power 2100mah 3s tied in parallel. Balance is spot on, sorry about the double photos, don't know how to remove them.
