My Posts This: Topic Forum | I got my unpainted EC-145 this wed from RC aerodyne and what can I say, what an awesome fuselage.
I am using trex 500 mechanics for the fuselage.
This is my first fuselage from rcaerodyne and will definitely not be my last. I have built many other scale helicopters in the past and this is one of the best I have ever had. The parts all came in great condition and the packing that rcaerodyne does of there packages is superb.
The fuselage was very easy to put together with a great set on instructions, it took me only about 5 hours before I was ready to install the mechanics, and that was with the paint job. I picked the UH-72 Lakota as the style I would do for the helicopter.

I do have to say that this fuselage was the easiest build I have ever had. The mechanics have a hook lock system in the back that makes getting the mechanics in and out very easy. They just slid right in and locked right into place. The 45 degree tail case that they include with the fuselage was very easy to build and install. I have no issues with binding of the rudder control or the belt.
After the mechanics were all in place I inverted the tail case to have the scale apperance and reversed all my gyro and rudder directions to compensate for the inverted tail case. This is one thing that has to be done. Make sure you reverse both the rudder channel and the gyro direction it self.
I love this fuselage with the working rear and side doors that come with the hinges ready to be installed. I just took it out for its first flight and what a sweet looking bird in the sky. I should have a video posted in the next couple of days.

Scale or 3D? Now thats a question!!!!!! |
