So...I am looking at maybe getting a Logo and I have a questions I hope one of you can answer for me.

How many of the parts for the 500 & 600 are interchangeable?

We may be swapping our fleet from Align to Logo and we may not get the same sized birds. But I have heard the frame is the same.

Hey Becky,

Yeah, the frames, landing gear, and I believe mainshaft/maingear
assembly. (Belt/mainshaft pulley is different on each, I think)

The canopy, blade grips, boom are all bigger on the 600.

Also believe a lot of tail/head linkages will interchange, along w
same tailshaft.

In a nutshellthe frames, drive train, mainshaft, and everything up the head including the mainblock are the same. Spindle, grips, all bearings inside the grips, and for the most part everything from the boom back is different except for the tail hub and pitch slider assembly. The tail boom diameter is 25mm on the 600 and 20mm on the 500 which is why they don't share tail boxes.

Here's a list of the parts that it takes to convert a 500 to a 600. From that you can see where all the differences are.

MIK0841 Main Blade Grip Thrust Bearing Spacer

Mainshaft pulley is the same, tail shafts are different.

Something to bear in mind, if you're looking to keep all the parts the same between different birds, is that you can buy a logo 600 and merely shorten the boom with the 500se belt to run 6s and 550mm to 600mm blades.
