LOL, yep, their really hurting.

Man are ya kidding?!?!? Microsoft has more than 30 Billion dollars on hand. Now that is just cash on hand. That dosen't include any capital or stocks or options or the value of their ownership or partial ownersip of other companies or the many buildings campuses etc. that is just the cold hard cash they could write a check on right now.

That is the number 30 with NINE friggin zeroes behind it. Roughly enough to buy EVERY friggin NFL team in existence.

I wish I was "Hurting".

7 min, I guess I'm just lazy, I got a copy not open yet. hopefully I can get my self to do it. Oh well. there are long winter nights ahead.

Well maybe not 7 Min, but seriously i installed probably 800-1,000 Windows XP's over the past 8-10 Years and i swear this one was the #1 least problematic and by far the FASTEST install ever...

Has allot to do with the fact that drivers are now all devloped and available these days and that Vista kicked their ass...

Really, the upgrade went flawlessly on 5+ computers allready...All driver except printers installed without user input...

So far everything that runs on vista runs on WIn 7!

They did their best and it shows!

If you are upgrading from Vista Home Premium to 7 Home Premium, you can buy a Family Pack Upgrade (3 licenses) for $149 only $30 more than a single license. Avail from Microsoft Store, Best Buy, Sams Club, Fry's and probably dozens of others

Buy the OEM version for cheap.

The catch you can only activate it on only ONE Motherboard.

It is named Windows 7 to fill the void between Vista and the already new and improved version called Windows 8 which will be introduced after about 2 billion dollars in sales is generated from 7.

Same here. I am running the Release Candidate on my desktop though. I plan on doing a clean install so I have been procrastinating. The RC will expire in June I think. So, I have some time haha.

Strange I have crashed mine several times. Pretty sure its not Win though. I am pretty sure I may have a bad stick of ram. ALthough it was fine in XP.
