I made a try with my 9Z. Make the changes without connecting anything to 9Z. First go to the SYS menu (Q button) and select the TRN menu. You 'll see 16 boxes. If all boxes are empty then leave them as they are. If you see any black boxes on any selected channel, you must disable them. To disable them select the channel with E-L buttons and press TRN (P button) until you see empty boxes on any selected channel. Make sure to the upper right corner that you are in INH mode. If not, change it with the R button. Press END (N button) to leave this menu. After this, press MDL (P button) and PMD. Make sure that PPM is selected. If not, select PPM and press END. You must cycle the power for changes to take effect. Power off the system and completely remove the RF module from the back plate of the 9Z. Put the USB interface into computer USB port and finally connect the DIN plug into the trainer port of 9Z. The system must operate with the power switch in "off" position. Check then if you have inputs to the USB interface through the game controllers properties of your operating system.
