6s4000mAh for 500mm main blades

6s5000mAh for 550mm main blades

You can go for a higher cell count for a better efficiency but for sport flying, there is a minimal difference.

Hobbycity.com has many good batteries.

Stay away from the Hobby City Turnigy 6S 5000mah 20c packs. I bought 4 of them to run in my Logo 10 and T-Rex 700E and they all puffed in less than 10 flights. I never put back more than 80%, I never even got them hot. This is not an isolated incident as my friend has 2 of those batteries that have puffed on him in under 25 flights. I won't use hobby city again for batteries.

Did your keyboard come with that big bottle of Haterade?

My 10 is running on old flightpower evo20 8s 3300mah
515mm mains pushing it quite hard in 3D flight i am geting 6 mins flight out of them and if i was to back the headspeed off and fly it gently the flight time could be extended.
The pacs are geting on for 2.5 - 3 years old now with loads of cycles on them, the punch power has decresed in them now but even so i am more then happy with the age and cycle life i have got out of them.
I am a beliver in you pay for what you get.
I am at the moment trying out some Flightpower EON-x and Hyperion cells but i dont have enough cycles on them yet to decide what brand i am going to go with.

I have 17 flights thus far on my Turnigy 6S 5000 20C pack and it's showing no signs of puffing (knock on wood). It probably depends on your flying style; I only fly sport, so I don't stress packs like 3D fliers do. If you're flying 3D, you shouldn't be using 20C packs in the first place.

I think Flight Power may be out of business. At least that is what I heard. Anyone know for sure?

Yup,their done.
The good stuff now comes from thunder power (45c) and hyperion (g3).
The 30c and 35c zippy packs would be my next choice after that.

There is some internal company problems that are being sorted out.
I read a thred that is now removed on another forum about what is going on.

Sounds like a great deal but will that battery fit in a L10? I had to shoehorn my 6S 5000 Turnigy(Junk)batteries in there.

I have used Flight Power, TP EX v1, TP EX v2, Zippy H and Turnigy 6S 5000 packs. The Zippy H and Turnigy packs are so far the best investment for me so far with the worst one lasted 65 flights and the best one still running at over 115 flights.

The TP EX packs, v1 or v2, have lots of punch at the beginning but lose quite a bit of power after 50 flights. At the 50 flight mark, the Turnigy pack delivers much better power than the TP packs. I also accumulate lots of EagleTree logs on these packs and do compare them from time to time. The TP pack costs more than twice the cost of Zippy pack.

I have around 600 flights between my T600 and L500 on these packs last year and and have logged every single flight (flight time, charge put back, voltage after flight) so I have quite a bit of data on these packs.

I put back around 3500 - 4000 mA after a 5 min flight so that would make me an "aggressive hover master" type pilot
