MrMel and Band,

During tic tocs and hard flips I am losing my tail alittle. Not much, but it blows out alittle less then 1/4 turn then it will hold that position. Any ideals what to change?

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

The tail gain was too high as I flew Jon's machine in a backwards inverted hurricane and as I pick up speed the tail starting wagging. Classic case of high tail gain.

Double check direction of the tail Pre-Comp.

What is this?? I have looked and can't figure it out.

I raised the tail gain and lowered my cyclic gain to 60. Seems to Hold really well now. Put two flights on it yesterday and flew pretty good.

Video #9 from http://www.vstabi.de/V4/index_e.html

Precomp is the tail-movement you get when going from zero to max pitch, it helps the tail since it "knows" it will require a change, if that goes in the wrong direction, the tail get a very hard job keeping up.
Sometimes this is shown as cyclic wobble, the tail actually moves but go back so fast it can be hard to catch it.

Ok,

My main blades turn clockwise, when I give it full collective the tail comp cause the tail blades to move the nose to the right and tail to the left? Is that right?

I-Gain is the Integral part of the Control loop, how "hard" it will try to keep the tail.
Note, dont go above 75, that can cause super-wag (control loop gets unstable).
If you ever encounter superwag for some reason (45 degree in each direction, fairly slow, its easy to stop it, just move the rudder, so keep calm and its easy.)
but at 70 there is no risk of it.

Sensor deadband is how much tolerance of "noise" the sensor should allow, the lower deadband the faster the gyro reacts.
(I actually run zero on my electrics for utter most performance), sure, it will probably hurt the tailservo more then running higher in the long run, but the performance will get alot better in return.

Your autotrim is too much off,
either mechanical setup is off, or cog or it was windy.
Tail gain, i flew 105-110 tailgain on mine, different servo though, but make sure you have the max you can without wag.
