My Posts This: Topic Forum | Sorry to hear that, but your occupation is a good one. Get your resume updated, network with friends that might have a lead, draw unemployment, it's not much but you deserve it, you paid for it. Try searching for companies on line that have similar equipment/designs that you are familiar with. Also think outside the box for opportunities. Someplace like even Disney needs machine automation engineers for all the theme park equipment. I always did two resumes, a short one targeting the company I was shooting for, and a detailed one (not more than two pages) to send along with the short one. Even if you didn't do the programing, you probably are familiar with 'G' code and other programs to build the 'G' code. If not, refresh your knowledge on the Internet. If you are willing to relocate there are some good head hunting outfits that will get you a lot of potential interviews. Take advantage of any out of state interviews, it's like a short paid vacation. EDIT: Post your resume on monster dot com. As I remember it is free to post and if I remember right it has a resume program to help to create your resume. And you can turn it on or off as needed.
Well, hope this helps. Paul
